Northern Dressage Group is based in central Lancashire and is a BHS affiliated riding club with 200 members. The focus of the club is the provision of high quality training and competition. To achieve this the club runs both BD affiliated and unaffiliated competitions. Although the focus is dressage, the club also runs showjumping, gridwork and cross country training. In addition NDG sends teams to compete in the Riding Clubs Area Qualifiers in dressage, showjumping and eventing.

After a spate of thefts of horses, trailers and horseboxes in the Northwest the police are advising horse owners to be extra vigilent.
